i've got 4900 with bldconf CCJD. I've got two versions of software, 149 and 175. Neither is working for me, am wondering if someone can send me a flash for this receiver with newer version that is not flagged.
thank you
Check Mili's files section in the TSOP bank. See if you find anything there for your reciever.

tuskoopz did you use the files from mili's site as is?
Or did you edit them for you boxkeys and IRD num then fix the CRC with Flashedit?
Once written you can let the receiver stream update to the latest version.
And what do you mean by flagged? You getting a 000001 location ID? In that case use your orginal TSOP from the receiver and Flashedit's ECM fix option and write it back to the IRD

i used my boxkeys and ird # with the file. Flagged meaning the software version is P175-F instead of P175-N and doesn't take updates because of that. I Tried to fix it but for some reason I've been unsuccessful. Its not ecm'd cause the location id is not 000001.

Ok I think you are getting a little misled with the terms I have been using.dlock=digital lock, which locks your tsop. Now you state no, just tsop.Do ya mean you have a tsop lock installed?Every ird has at least one tsop.

:D Finally were getting somewhere...lol
Anyways the ird might not be taking update just because you have the lock installed, you might be wise to remove wiring and see what this will do as it should then take update.

i wasn't the one to install this lock. To install it, do u have to cut a trace, and if u do than how do I deal with than.If I take the lock out, than it will last as long as it lasts right now, whick is few minutes before it gets ecm'd.

You do have to have cam in to update,so you won't get hit, will look into sche4matics of how this lock is installed and get back to you.

Ahhh! The dreaded F flag. Sorry a bit slow on the uptake.
The F flag is on the EEPROM not the TSOP. Use Flashedit 2.0 or greater. Open up your TSOP save. Then click on the save as button. Click on save virgin eeprom. Save the file then use jkeys to Write it to your EEPROM. That will fix your F flag problem and allow the receiver to stream update.

i got the software version p175 with the eeprom thats N. Repaired it or virginized it whatever u do with flashedit. Hopefully it will take the update. Had to put the atmega in cause it wouldn't take it without a card.
thank you guys

tuskoopz a quick question. Do you have to uninstall the digital lock to get rid of the F in your EEPROM.
Actaully I have the same situation and want to know if I have to remove all the wires or just have to solder pin 7 of EEPROM to the mother board and use Jtag to virginized the EEPROM

just use jtag to virginize it. I still have the lock in.
