Yep you need a modified unlooper and associated flashs. They are quite a few thread on this subject type in search for threads under this topic ...!modified unlooper ...you find merbers and dealer who offer this service and do it your self help( need an old hu loader to modify.....Hope this help

Depends on whats wrong with it. If you mean glitched (opened), yes , as stated above. If it was open, and you took the mark at $c008, then No.

what does it mean "took the mark at$c008"

Please post more information in your requests for help.

Do you have an A23 which WAS Open, and now is not working, or do you have Streamlocked A23? If streamlocke at A23, then yes, glitch away with a modded loader and you will get in.

If the card is open, but now is not working and you want to see if the Video decrypt has been disabled (i.e. mark at $C008 causing black screen), then read the card in Nagra 4.1, and look at the $C000 line of the eeprom in the 8th column and see if its "FF", if so , you SOL.

i looked in the eeprom, went to 1C00 line, no f's. is this the line to look at?
