i had a model 1000 and rom 10. when i switched the channel, it took anywhere from 4-8 seconds for picture to come in. this was annoying, so i upgraded my ird and got a 301.013 dual tsop, kept he rom 10 put a digi lock on it, runs beaut. problem is, this f!@#$%^en thing takes from 10- 15 seconds for a channel to appear. porn is longer. anyone know wtf is up with that and wat i can do to make it faster?

??why a new card? what's the diff if i use this rom 10 or a new rom 10? it's still a rom 10.

sometimes I found that stuff doesnt get all the way erassed, have you tried the rom in a different IRD? if it works fine then it's your IRD. try a new card if it works its the card.

like i said in the opening of the thread, i had a 1000, and i know these are sh!t, and i know that they take a sec or two to load the chennel, that's why i upgraded. the rom 10 worked fine in the 1000, in this ird it takes forever, so i figure it's the ird. any idea what i can do about this problem? 10-15 seconds is LONG in loading a channel.

but you said it still hesitated, I also have a 1000 that is imediate? I am also using an atmega though

When you clean that card next time.... LOAD a virgin image back on it 1st and then change your info in nagraedit to whatever you are using IE, (IRD Boxkeys,Zip, etc) and see if does better for ya.
