DirecTV Phase III /Dishnet Conversion

Here's an interesting DTV/Dishnet dish conversion project for those of you with PhaseIII DTV Elliptical dish assemblies. It allows you to receive both satellite 110 and 119, all transponders, with ONE DTV dish.

Attached is a written how-to, and a pictorial guide.

I see no reason why this dish cant get DTV, Dish, & Bell at the same time just like the DTV plus dish. I'll try the DTV w/ dish but I dont have another IRD to test Bell.

The bottom line here is still, you cannot use the 3-in-1 DTV lnb for dish. You CAN use the pan/mast of that dish to get a slighty better signal with 2 separate lnb's than a normal 18" dish.

Exactly you canot use the phase III lnb because of internal switches

If you can't upload it... would you explain what it is? I'm looking for any way to use these 10 trip-sat dishes I have from the DTV world.

i found a mod a guy named bart did, he took a starchoice eliptical dish and modded it to recieve bev's 91 and 82 sat's, dave's 101 and 119 sat's and charlies 110 and 119 sat's with 5 lnb's, he had to create a new arm to hold the lnb's. the file is called bartchoice, i think i got it from maestra

Just a thought but I have used the Primestar oval and have some of the best sig's in the rain,I would mod my C-band but its still in use,Never throw anything out it might become new again

hi i am a newbe to dishnet i have two 2700 recievers and two rom 3 cards don't know how to tell what rev they are but have even a bigger problem they are both password protected and i can't get in to reprogram them i have xl extream hu programer wondering what flash i need to turn it into a unlock for my rom 3 cards and would really appreciate instrucktions on how to do that if you can help there my name is Rob any help would be appreciated allso wondering what i need to get my tosp chip up and runing thanks again Rob.
