My 2800 won't take the last update... It's rtying for the last month with no luck..
I have an auto-reset TSOP lock installed but no matter what position I have it (UNLOCK-MIDDLE or LOCK) the ird won't update... Every half an hour it tries to but... nothing!
I am sure the lock installation is good because the ird resets in every ECM.
What is happening though?
If the TSOP remains locked due to the TSOP lock and I erase the SA5 sector I am afraid that it may never update...!
Also note that if its a lock problem reflashing the whole TSOP won't do the job since I still have to disable the lock in order to write the new file to the TSOP.
Question: Can I disable the TSOP lock by ONLY unsodering the VCC wire? Will it then take the update and then can I soder the wire back where it was?

What is the last letter on the Software Version line on the system info screen: a "N" or a "F" ?

If the IRD tries to get the Build config from the Eeprom, if it is corrupt, or can not be read, then it will get the Build Config from TSOP. Build read from Eeprom=N, build read from TSOP=F. *From "Get the "F" out" by Chas1962.

Sometimes the "F" is the problem, and sometimes receivers with the "F" will still update fine.

Just my 2 bits.
