Where's 4x4?

Am I the only one who's noticed it's been three weeks since we've heard from our friend 4x4? Maybe we need to do something special to show how much we appreciate him and hopefully get him back in the game. We miss ya 4x4! The forum is a better place when your around.

4X4 won't be returning to our forum, unfortunately. Without going into details, I'll just say he no longer sees eye to eye with Mili or myself. He was not banned, nor will that option even be considered. The choice was his, and his alone. I'm not laying blame, just stating facts - and I accept responsibility for anything I may have done to offend him. He is a good man that has simply chosen a different direction. He's done a lot for us, and for that he is to be praised.

Sad...but life is full of sadness, and promises us nothing. All we can do is take it as it comes.

I shouldn't have brought it up. My goal was to muster a showing of support so strong that 4x4 would feel compelled to resume his participation. My apologies for 'picking a scab' so to speak.

No man do not feel bad. There is nothing secret here and I assure you ther are is hurt here. I suspect 4x4 is under a lot of mental duress (health problems?) and we do not want to pile more on his plate while he is dealing with that one. He is a real life hero who saved countless lives, went into harms way more than once and it is sad that he decided he no longer wants to be a part of our community but such is life.

4x4 is top notch in my book, I cannot really find the words to express how I feel losing him and contact with someone who has been so great to me, Helping and welcoming to this site, Teaming up with Chapster and Chief to talk Mili into giving me the curse of moderating here ( Inside joke, I like it ) , Just a surprise, I didn't know anything about it.
