View Full Version : a serious problem has been detected with ur reciever.. plz help

iam using a rom 10 on a 301:010 reciever, my reciever keeps gettin ecms , after every 20 mins , i have used several bins, and even the bin files from milli that say oct30.ep , i am using teh generate sum blocker and teh ncb blocker, i have also tried not to put any ppvs on it , but still nuthin is helping me, it got ecmed about 20 times now , plz anyhelp would be appreciated.. ( coudl it be teh flash problem inside the reciever) or what thankuuuuuuuuuu. also what iam ding is the tier patch file sent by milli , i delete soem tiers from in between of it , and copy n paste some of my own tiers in between , trhen run the patch , just to let u all knwo , what i am doing for possible right answers, thankuu ( am not using any kinda locks either , just to let u all know , but my reciever worked fine fro 2 months b4 that oct 27 ecms )

i got some problem with atmeha128 (2800 Ird)--i just eresed atmega -put new program --working 2h.Program is Woodsyxp

I was told by a dealer today not to use a lock in a 301, that it was a waste of money.
All you need to do is wire a toggle switch to the junkyard fix and when you get ecm'ed just switch the switch over and back and restream.

I disagree on one point...JYF is last resort only.If it doesn't have a jtag port, install one or build one internally. I don't use locks either, and really don't have to jtag vey often. My 4900 has been hit only twice in the last 14 months.

In time the TSOP will be fried...
The micro-controller chip (JTAG has to go through it) is to protect the TSOP.
There is a reason why they call this method....the JUNK-YARD fix ...!!!!
