password lock problem

just got a 2700 bev runnin for a buddy and everythings good except the adult are locked and i do not have a pass.........how do i bypass this

go to the remote and hit menu 6 3 info right arrow left arrow, then a memory dump screen will come up. Then hit TV/Video and unplug receiver for 1 minute. The password will be cleared.
