jtag error on 301

I am trying to read a 301-13 single chip tsop and it errors out at 11% every time. Anybody have a suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Have R79 grounded???

I did not. This is my first 301 reciever and read about doing this in gunthers guide but was not sure if it had to be done or not as my 2900, 3900 and 501 did not.

301 is a totally different receiver obviously. Ground R79 it basically will disable the receiver from fighting back, and after you are done programming, make sure you un-ground it.
