Here is a quote from one of our member who is using a motor on her system and picking up the Bev with the same dish so why get another dish when you can add a motor and get all of the channels listed below by adding a motor to your system
Quote:
Hi! If you want lots of channels but don`t mind not having a on screen guide I would choose the pansat 2500a,myself I have the pansat 2500a and fortec star lifetime.
But Pansat works better, also with pansat 2500a you can get DN and Bev birds as long as you have the dishes to do so.
I currently pick up close to 2000 channels from Dn&Bev and other FTA channels from around the globe.
If you follow instructions well you should be up and running in less than 1/2 an hour.
lots of peeps here to offer help with the how to if you get stuck.
good luck... UnQuote: And I agree with the above statement becaUSE i'M USING A MOTOR ON MY SYSTEM AND THE SKY IS AT YOUR BECKING CALL UNLIMITED!! Have a Great Day!! This is for educational purposes and an awesome hobby. Enjoy!! Read, Read and Read more!!

Hello tigert422, can you give us all a hint of the dish name and motor name and setup you like for all I'm getting now is 110, 119 and I think I'd like to explore for more sat's. Anyone else that might read this can also give a hint on what brands they like, for others on the site may have some interest too. Thank you!

Milli dosen't want any type of advertisement and I don't want to be banned from this awesome forum, so double click on my name and look for all of my posting that were made before he posted the warning it will tell you where to go and look for the motor The dish that I have came with three LNB's that I got from an auction which goes on everyday on the net,( Exxy). The only problem I had because I didn't know at the time was when I got the motor the shaft was bigger and the dish would not fit on the shaft so I had to get an adapter from a hareware store. So you have to make sure that you know the size of the hole that the shaft is going to go into. Example the opening on the dish was 1 3/4 " but the shaft was 2", so I had to get a 13/4 " pipe to go into the hole for the dish and them get a female adapter which would go over a 1 3/4' on one end and 2" on the other end to secure the dish and the motor together as one unit. The size of my dish is 18 1/2 ". It took me awhile to lign the dish to pick up the birds on the Clark Belt ( I think that is what they call it). I got things to work by just playing with everything and it didn't come easy . It will take a lot of patience and TIME. Set at least 4 hours aside to play with this hobby . I don'y mind helping for a lot of people have helped me. Good Luck and have a Great Day!!
