301-013 Wont power Up

Hi, my 301.013 was ecm'd with location ID 0000001, first time I read with jkeys everthing went fine, I erased SA15 and then I hooked back and the power led didnt light up, so I proceed to read again with jkeys and nothing this time it sent back the following error ERROC READING FROM IRD DCU PEEK, so I sold a pin to R79 and the ground it and this time I could read but still the led wont light up, could someone help bring back to life my IRD.

never herd of erasing sa15 on an 013 ird I beleive it is sa49 may have junkyard fix

Ok sat15 is for dual tsop 301.13s and u erase sat 15 on flash 1. Sat49 i think is for single tsop 301.13

Which one do u have???

U need wall2 and the How to ressurect your 301

Wall 2 is not needed for a -013, and you will have a hard time trying to use it, Wall was written specifically for a 301-010/3100.
Some people have had success with it, but it is not needed, jkeys is all that is needed.

Skinerd is right-Wall will not work for you. Read up a little bit and you will find out what to do.

have a 301 13 bootstrap comes up as xxx can not flash, getting dcu error any suggestions?

Ok dude here is what did with my receiver as you knew my ird was dead the green led didnt lighted up, so here are some steps that I used in order to bring it back to life.

After my IRD was ECM´D when I tried to read it an ERROR READIND FROM IRD DCU PEEK was promt by jkeys
Solution: Find r79 and sold a pin/cable to it (there´re two small squares use the one to the far right) with the back of the IRD facing you, attach the cable the chasis of the IRD for grounding purposes.
I used a solded Jtag, much better, now with the cable, we will avoid the DCU Peek error, once you could read it check your BUILD CONFIG, and try to download a TSOP with the same BUILD CONFIG.
Go to the Flash Programming section and completely erase the whole flash, do it several times.
Once you have a TSOP make sure you edited in Flash Edit with your IRD information and now in the Flash Section press program and a Checking for flash will be prompted, on some receivers it sent back that the Flash isnt empty do you want to continue ? Proceed anyway, and select the TSOP file.
Finally restream your receiver and that shoudl do the trick, now on my case I had a p204 version originally and I used a TSOP with the p200 soft version so if let the receiver take the update from the sat all I got was a BLACK SCREEN EVEN ON FREE CHANNELS 101 213 ETC...
So I went to the System Upgrades menu and selected ask before downloading and since 12 pm CST my receiver is working as always perfectly except for this software glitch that I cant find out why this is happening so any help on this matter would be aprecciated,

yep got to where it says flash not empty but when i go to program it it shows 1/2 of the flash is there starts programming half way thru instead of the beginning, then i get error at 99% flash 1 flashes ok but flash 2 will not, tried flashing 2 first also tried flashing1 first still no go on flash 2 will not fully clean for some reason.

Have you performed a vidmod on this ird? If so turn it on after you have unplugged unit to enter Flash programming. This should get you in. Erase and rewrite flash 2 first, then flash 1

Wont help if its a dual TSOP 301. I am having the same problem trying to program flash 2 on a dual 301. I have tried about everything suggested but still cant get it to flash. I gave up for now and thought about just replacing the TSOP chip itself.....

hey folks,

my 3900 is doing the same thing, and i've tried restoring it from a backup a few times. although the last time i restored it, i got channel 101, but the remote was useless!! with my latest restore attempt, the green led on my 3900 flashes on/off. i assume we all have been ecm'ed, right?

also, i checked out oddcircuits site, and apparently there is a flaw in thier ar105 lock that was recently posted.

anyone have any thoughts how to fix this???
