I can't seem to get unlock my rom3 card

I'm a relative newbie, and didn't have any problems, thanks to this forum, until now. I used RTM v11.8 to add tiers to my card and I ckecked the box to add a blocker. Now I can't get into my card, as I get an error code whenever I put in the unlocking "password" I always use.

Did I make a mistake adding the blocker with RTM? If so, is there a backdoor key that is used in that program?

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!!

The default password is DE AD BE EF BA AD F0 0D. Try it.

Thanks Luck, but I tried that. The error code actually says bad password or backdoor not present. Any other ideas? I was assuming it was the program I used (RTM) but maybe it was something else I did!

Did you have that card in the stream? if so, it may be stream locked. Blocker may have not been written to the card.

Yes, I did put it in the stream. And you're right, I may not have put the blocker on, I was just assuming that I had. Now what??? Did I screw up this card?

Not srewed, but it has to be unlocked, either by a trip to the dealer, or with a modded HU loader.

Thanks for the info. I'll read more about the HU loader. I have one, so I should be able to figure it out! I'm in the United States, so I'm not sure if a dealer is going to be happy to see me with this card. Do people just walk into a dishnet dealer and ask them to unlock a card, without being thrown out of the store??

Lots of threads and info on modding most popular loaders. i modded both a T911 and a MikIII. The 911 has unlocked at least 30 cards, and the Mik half as many. If you know what loader you have, i will dig up as much as I can and help you.
