I have a dual lnbf dish 500 dish. It has 2 feeds 1 for 110 1 for 119. It has 2 sw21 switches and is cable of running 2 recievers from this dish. I have 1 3900 receiver. How do I wire the lnbf for one reciever? Do I only use 1 lnbf or use 2 lnbs's and only connect to one of the lnbf? Obviously a CONFUSED NEWBIE HERE---> HELP!

All you need to hook uup is the 110 to sat a ,the 119 to satb on one sw21. The blended signal comes out the other terminal on the same sw21. You can disconnect the other sw21 and the cables for it and keep it inside out of the weather for future use. Don't forget to set the 3900 up as a Dish500 receiver, and to do the check switch in the menuing!

Thanks Larry, I connected the 2 wires to the right side terminal on each lnb and ran to sw21 switch and then connected it to the receiver. Getting no satellite signal at all.
the bleeping bleep never changes on my 3900. I have looked the only place i can "setup" the reciever for a dish500 is in the peak angles area or have I again missed something?

Try one sat at a time. Hook up the 119 lnb to the receiver only, no switch. Aim for max signal. Then, disconnect it, and hook the receiver to the 110 lnb. If you used the proper co-ordinates for your receiver location, you shouldn't be far off from signal. Don't forget to change to the 110 sat in the menu when you do this.If by luck you have found signal on both sats, now hook up both lnb's to the sw21, checkswitch in menu and try it.
If you need to know your dish co-ordinates, theres a great program called"Zipcode 32". All you enter is your zipcode, and it gives you azimuth/elevation/skew angles. I have it if you can't find it.

Good idea I will take the reciver outside and hook it up directly in the daylight

Do this, Disconnect the sat in cable all together, Hit Menu,6,1,1, run check switch, It will fail of course but reset the eeprom is what we are after, Now put your zipcode in the pointing menu and note the elevation and skew settings. Go pull your dish off the mast and level the pole, Set your dish to elevation and skew settings you had, Put dish back on pole, Connect a cable directly to 119 lnb, In dish pointing menu manually select transponder 11 on sat 119, Do not select superdish. Turn your dish left to right, slowly, I am sure you know the general direction. Once you have 119 in good lock the dish, 110 will be fine if it has been leveled and the skew is set properly. Now reconnect the sw21 and rerun check sw.
