I have YvousEmu 3.0. All channels including PPV has been working OK, but latterly when I call for a PPV channel I have a note that states: "You have rich the upper limit of purchase"
Can you help me to resolve this problem?

Open your emu bin in Naraedit. Click on data editor. Scroll down on the left dialogue window to PPV, first occurence. Yo can now see the low/high values on the lower main dialogue windo. Edit in the current values(I don't have them in front of me). Save to your floppy, and watch t.v.

Another alternative is to install a phone spoofer . Not sure about Yvous however with CEMU you simply remove the PPV tier , set the spend limit to say $200.00 in the OC tier and "buy" the PPV . No PPV tier -- No problem . With a good set of standard tiers I don't know what else look as legit . I have never been ECMED with this set up. And yes a spoofer does work on a 3100 dish . Bev it does not.

When you talk about CEMU, are you talking about CEMUwizard?
Also can you post a OC tier and then show a modified version? I looked at the tier in nagraedit and don't really see which value to modify.
Thanks for any help.

This is how I make my dish383.bin and it works great. It seems like alot, but after a few times it's easy. Make sure you use the latest Tier lists for MiniRTM.
How To Find PPV Hi’s and Low’s
Tune to a PPV channel with your receiver
On the remote hit the INFO button(not SYS INFO)
Each PPV has a 5 digit code number in prentices(55744)
Copy them and notice the Highest and Lowest.
You then round down the Lowest - If it’s 55744 round down to 55700
To get the Highest add 18000 to the Lowest ----55700 + 18000 = 73700
Some Say The Spread Should Be Less Than 2000, But I Have Been
Using A Spread Of 18000 And Have Been For A long Time.(It’s Up To You
How To Create The .ne3 file Using MiniRTMV2.5
Open MiniRTMV2.5
You need the latest tier list - in the same folder as MiniRTMV2.5
Choose Provider and Rom Type
Select the channels you want(make sure you select the Top AT60,AT180 & AT120)
Notice The Tiers Counter
Click - Add PPV
Click - Create Random(a bunch of times)
Under Decimal - Change the Lowest PPV ID and the Highest PPV ID
Click - Use This(bottom of screen)
Click - Create NE3 Patch
Name and Save someplace recognizable

8) Click Patch - Open Patch, locate your .ne3 file and Open
9) Test Patch - Bottom of screen you should see no errors detected
10) Run Patch - Patch applied with 0 errors
11) Click File - Save Card Image(name & save)
12) That Is You dish383.bin - You need to rename it by removing the .bn3
13) To rename it just right click the file and remove the .bn3(dish383.bin is what you should see until you finish)click on an open area of the page and the file name should be dish383. The .bin is hidden.
This Bin can be used in Cemu or Yvous if the INI file is directed to it.
If You Use The Bin With Yvous - In The INI File Delete Everything Below The Dish383.bin
If You Use The Bin With ChinaManDN - Just Rename It BEV381.bin

BiggerBear,
I have been using this methodology for a while now, the only exception being I'm using Dish10 rather then Dish383 file. (I'm emulating with CEmu, Rom10, on a 721PVR) Up until a few weeks ago this process worked great, until They started hitting tiers. So I simply removed the PPV step and was back in business - minus PPV's of course. So, yesterday I thought I would give it a shot again and see if the tier ecm's were gone. Everything went smoothly and works fine EXCEPT PPV's, it is still asking me to purchase. I have also tried creating tiers using wptg32.exe, my old method, but I get the same results. Has something changed that I am missing???? I have tried several combinations many times and I'm getting Very frustrated.
Can anyone help?

My PPV's have been up for months. The only thing I changed is the Keys in the dish383.bin. I did it manually using NagraEdit. I got the keys from the front page
at dsshelper. To see that window I had to disable my Pop-Up Stopper!
This is a cut&Paste. That's the only thing I have added.
Echostar Keys
Key0 06 07 F0 E2 61 6F E1 45 - Active
Key1 C2 66 46 F8 7A 73 48 2A
ExpressVue Keys

Thanks for the reply. I have updated keys also, using the minitm25 prog. If you click on Add IRD Info, there is a Get Keys button. I just opened my patched dish10 file and checked the Keys, they are correct. You have been up for months? Didn't you loose anything a couple weeks ago during the Tiers ECM?

BiggerBear, I think I read in a older thead where you use a huge spread on your PPV lowand high IDs. When you do that, how long do they last? Mine only seam to last about 2+ weeks before I have to redo them. I never make my spread larger than about 2000
himeros

I read that the ppv's change about 2k per week, so for a spread of 2000 that would be about right. I might add that I leave everything alone in the .ini file, except I comment out all the PPV's. Then I make only the PPV's using miniRTM. One additional thing I do that Bear has not said, I pick a valid "PPV Event ID" that come between the low and high PPV you are programming for. I also change the "Expire date" to be close to the ending date of the PPV's. This may help to avoid an ECM, but not sure about it. Porn strings may be less of a target than improper PPV strings. You should print out Bear's guide, just I have and put it near the computer for reference.

If you read the instructions I made you will see that I use a spread of 18000 and have been up a long time(at least 2 months)
I know about the talk of 2000, but when I made my first bin I put 18000 by mistake and that has worked since the first PPV ECM and I stuck with 18000.
As I stated in my instructions you can do what you want.
If I were do get ECM'd I can Jtag very easily and do the SA Sector Erase, but I haven't needed to.

I never had to jtag during the lasy PPV ECM, just take the PPV strings out. I started loosing channels and my IRD acted strange. So I just redid my bin file without PPV info and everything settled down. I still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Even if I follow your guide to the tee, I still get the "do you want to purchase..." on PPV's. The only difference is I'm doing dish10 vs. dish383. Guess I'll just have to keep playing with it till I figure it out!

My preference would be Yvous and Rom3, but I have not been able to get Rom3 to work with my 721 PVR unit. So I'm stuck with Cemu Rom10.
mrduffin the phone spoofer creates a dial tone that satisfies the IRD call out requirements. I will see if I can post the diagram . That gets rid of the nag . Now you have to have the credit to buy them . This is done in the spending tier . Open your bin in Nagra Edit click data editor and click the "c" spend tier . On right see Debit in cash . Cange to AF . This is $175.00 . When you spend that or buy more than nine PPV you will run out of credit . Restart the computer and IRD and your PPV purchases are lost off the bin and IRD. To remove the PPV tier simply click on it and click on remove . The spoofer will not work on a bell 3100 without modifying the resistor values . No I don't know how however a formula is supplied . Trust me it works .
Sorry i don't have the diagram on this computer . Maestra.tv has it in their file sections

BiggerBear, I did take a look at the dial tone generator (follow the link you posted) but I don't know how to find point A and B on IRD 2700. Could you show me where are they located on the board?
Thanks.

I don't use it. Just passing on Information.
I put my PPV's in the dish383.bin
It looks simple enough-
The +5v just like with the Emulator.
A & B To the Phone Jack-I would make a short phone line wired to the the 555(2 wires. Then test where they need to go when the end is plugged into the receiver.
The receiver only uses 2 traces for the phone connection. Take the cover off and you will see the copper traces. Thats where you wire to. As I said just check continuity from the traces to the ends of the shourt phone line you made.
Use a 2 wire bell telephone extention . Green is groung . I drilled hole through the back of the IRD and plugged it into the jack. No need to go to the board.
Thank you all. It really help.
