Missing some channels

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Need some help with this problem please...

-I used the bevorder20041022.gtd filethat someone was kind enough to put together, but i ended up with a lot of channels that did not work(scrambled or no signal)..

-1 of these channels is the discovery channel for example.

-So i cleared out the bevorder.gtd channels and done a full scan.

-And i am still missing some channels.

-If i am correct in my understanding of this, that channel comes from transponder 8,when i scan transponder 8 i have no signal strength..

-If i proceed with the tp scan it tells me there were no channels found.
(no signal=no channels obviosly).

-checked all transponders with bev unit. Some had a poor signal so i adjusted my dish.

-The lowest signal i get on any transponder is 82% with the highest being 99%.

-Hooked up fortec unit

-checked signal strength of all tps

-All v polarity have good signal

-H polarity has poor signal on tp 2/4/6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20/22/24/26/28/30/32/58.

-Also ran a new rg6 line from dish to reciever to make sure line was ok

Hi! Try changing the Tp if it`s V change to H see if that helps or the other way around.
When you do a sat scan change from FTA to ALL

Bev moved alot of channels around in sept. so go to lyngsat and see which Tp`s and add in the Tp`s it`s nim 1/3 now that`s what I did for mine I added in the Tp`s as new Tp`s to be the same as lyngsat.then I did my scan..

Hi! Have you tried a different LNB or is there anything in the path that could block a little of your signal.

Could just have a faulty LNB.

THEIR IS CLEAR SKY TO MY DISH,AS WELL MY SIGNAL STRENGTH ON MY BEE 2700
IS 82% TO 99% DEPENDING ON WHICH TRANSPONDER I CHECK...

I am still having problems getting all the channels..

I have changed my dish to a 20" bev with the bev supplied LNB

I used bev 2700 to lock signal on all transponders, fiddled with the skew a bit.My lowest signal is 81% and it is raining and overcast.

Done sat scan all,all+D

I have read post after post

What am I missing here?

Any Ideas please

Thanks

I posted the newest flash that is available it's under Here it is, the are from Blaclist and it also fixes the clock and has no nags at all.

I will attach a good channel list for you to this is for 91, 110, & 119 birds. I have left the diseqc swicth unset so you can set it up for the way your lnb's feed into the switch.

On each bird when you set the switch to 1, 2, or 3 look at the meters and be sure that you have good quality, If you do not, scroll down to TP and then use the scroll right button and got over one at a time till the quality has a good reading then click exit so it will save the diseqc switch an TP settings and you should be good to go...
