help with 3700

I have 2 3700s working fine, no nags for a couple weeks. Just finished a third one but it nags right away (error 151). The bin is P766 Build CBSD. Am using same card build as others with IRD # and boxkeys changed. What am I missing?

Forgot to add that eeprom and tsop are locked

Seeing as you haven't got uptodate f/w on this one...3750 1.07 I would let it update and you should be done with nag.Take cam out or leave it in,switch locks off and let it download without permission.

thanks. i was thinking that so i sent the bin info. looks like our new moderator is on the ball. Glad to have you on our side. But, i WILL pull the cam. Just got it unlocked.

well i havent been watching it. The current project is Fetticini Alfredo with salad and garlic toast. i'll check after I clean up this mess in the kitchen to see if F/W has changed. I dont think the l.e.d. has blinked. I have been watching a movie on the 3800 and probably would have noticed a blink.

Nothing has changed. I thought it would still update even when power was off. It;s been in stream with locks off for 55 minutes.

You didn't pull main power from wall did ya?Just switch ird off with remote and unlock everything,set to download without permission,if all this fails then do a hard reset to see if we can talk to this baby.

I just got a PM from another member that said 151 meant my lock itself had a problem.......

I have covered this in another thread where the lock itself is stopping the ird from taking update,lock wires may have to be removed for it to do this,this is the last option which we don't really want to do,it's up to you.

a nag with the cam out? i was trying to get an update with no cam, locks off, unit on and then came into the room and found a 151 error nag. this strikes me as odd. anyway after 1 hour on i still have the same FW. Next - hard reset.

Try update with your cam in.As long as it has blocker on it,won't be harmed.

What blocker are you using for this cam?hope it's not "h0rhay"as this was compramised a while ago,this could be the reason for the nag,anyways try Penga,if you haven't already.

yes i have been using penga for about a month. yes actually it was after the july 4th weekend. yes i have a stack of locked cams just a couple of open ones. not real concerned about getting a tsop hit although i would rather not:eek: . tried a hard reset - no change.
