clonning receiver

Can anybody point me the right direction,on clonning receiver,the model that I'm interested in clonning is 301-10,I already know some thing on eracing sector,with the jtag.

To clone a receiver, all you have to do is reprogram the tsop with new box keys and IRD number. It's that simple. You can put the boxkeys and IRD number from, as far as I know, any receiver to any receiver assuming you can reprogram to tsop. Just read the tsop you want to change, open the image in flashedit and change BK's and IRD#, then write altered image back to receiver. That's all there is to it.

well what I have,is I think is a curupt chip,I was thinking about reading my chips on my receiver and programming the receiver that as the curupt files,can I copy the file off one receiver and and rewrite them to another,if I can,I need a few detail on doing that.

You can not write a tsop image from one receiver to another UNLESS it's the same model and same build. You can, however, change the box keys and IRD# on any receiver to mach any other receiver. IRD# and box keys are all you change to 'clone' one receiver to match another. The rest of the tsop image must remain unchanged.

Ok,both Receiver Are 301-01,so I Can't Copy One Chip From One To Another?

Not necessarily (sorry about the spelling). Even the same model can have a different build. If your IRD's are the same build, then yes, you can transfer tsop images. There is a sticker on the main board that tells you what the build is and jkeys will tell you if you read the tsop.

301's are pretty build confg. tolerant, try the flashes from the good one into the bad one, include eeprom too, won't hurt to try.

Got them vid modded? That will be needed to clone, at least the one you are writing to, both will need modded if 7FFFFFAC is not 0000. Got them jtagged?

If you had a 301.13 you would probably need to vid mod. skinerd was just reading too fast or something; he knows this stuff inside and out. Yes, sorry about that, I just saw the 301 part, not the 010........
These -010s are very tester friendly receivers, no mods needed, easy to work with.
Just read from 1 and write to the other (both tsops and the eeprom), I would not even be concerned about build configuration either, these are not particular.

well what I have is maybe erace more than I should,I had a few friend standing around,went I was trying to repair sector 3a,went I look jeeper software starter a full erace,I stop in the middle of the running of the erace,went back and erace the 3a sector,put it back in the stream,and took forever to take the update,went the receiver finich loading the check switch wouldn't reconize the switch,I try another sector 3a erace, this time the receiver will not take the steam download,I THINKING I ERACE PART THE SOFTWARE ON CHIP THAT HAVE SOMETHING DO WITH RECONIZING THE SWITCH,AND A FEW OTHER THING.

thanks,it look pretty easly! I think if I remember right I had 2 bin that was save,do I erace both,and write both back to the receiver, frist flash frist,then erace 2nd flash rewrite the 2nd?

You may need the 301 resurrection guide to get the back up if both flashes are empty, it's in the files section about #280 or so.......

Yes it's possible, I have done it numerous times.
