View Full Version : Jtag question & .010 or 013 question??

How do I tell if i got a .010 or a .013 DP301? The tag on the back says DP301 REQ. ID .010 I'm assuming its a .010 . Second question is for jtaging, I have a jtag port in my box so with the receiver turned upside down and the back of the box facing away from me is pad #1 in the upper left? Thank's in advance.

Tons of information on this config. Use the search button and type in 301-013. Then do a search on jtag 301-013.

The tag on the back says DP301 REQ. ID .010


it is an 301.010 box and if you turn the box with the back to you inother words if you had it in your lap with the sat input and output against your belly the red wire on your jtag will be the second pad from the left

The reason i asked is because i can't get my jtag to work. I went over my connections a 1k times. 3rd pad over to pin 2 on the db25 3/4 4/5 5/7 13/6 and ground to medal case. jkeys 2.9 .10 keeps coming up unknown device in all parallel port settings. IRD is plugged in but not turned on. rrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Are you using any resistors or direct connect?
Are you using a laptop PC?

I'm using resistors and a laptop (sony vio) fx210)

ahhhh I figured it out, I had 1k Ohm resistors in instead of 100 Ohms in. Now its working

I've got my eprom lock in place, My rom10 is at REVA16, and receiver has not been in the stream since 10/06/03 do i need to reflash?
should I set my receiver for the latest updates? its at P210EAED-N Boot strap -13EBEAED
and is my camid blacklisted? can i use jeepers? Just a few questions for now I know there will be more. Thanks for your patients

Use nagra edit to program card, the receiver will update to P229 if turned off in the stream.
Get a private script and blocker before you stream that card or it will lock at A23, which now can be unlocked, most of the time, but requires a modified unlooper to do so.
