I have both a pansat 2500a and a fortec ultra. I am using a d#sh 500 dish.
my problem is that when I change chanels, a lot of the time I will get no sig, or scrambled chanel, I go to antena setup and look at my settings, I will be on a vertical transponder, if I change that to horizontal, all is fine, but it don't always stay there. Is there a solution for this..Thanks

Hi! If you do a search on dish 500 you should find a channel list made for Dish 500
has everything set right.
have you tried turning one sat to 22khz to "on".

Are you using a Dish 500 Twin legacy lnb? It may be you are having a problem with the switch hanging. The built in switch in the lnb will not work proper with the fta receivers if this occurs for the pansat and ultra when using them. Instead of adjusting the antenna setting when this happens, turn the unit off with the rear reset button and then back on. If your channel comes in when you do this, it is most likely you have a twin legacy lnb and I would suggest you change it out for seperate dual lnbs or dishpro lnbs.

I have dual seperate lnb"s with 2 sw21 switches.

The sw21 switch will not work with the ftas receivers. Change them out to a 2x1 or a 4x1 diseqec switch and make a cable run from lnb to switch to receiver. Duplicate the run for the second receiver. You will need two out ports on each lnb for this to work. Hook 119 into port 1 and 110 into port 2 and set these settings for the sats in the antenna settings in the receiver.
