I need some help with a problem which just started last night. I'm running a 2700 emu setup using cemu with digilock installed. The problem I'm getting is pixelation & bad audio. When I go into the dish pointing setup, I notice the signal strength is locking & then the signal is lost again. It goes back & forth. Transponder 1 however has a steady signal lock over 100. I seem to get problems with the other transponders. Could it be the lnb? By the way, I'm only pointing to Sat 119 right now & I get odd & even on this sat. The dish is an 18' with dual lnb. No dish500. Plus I'm also getting a message to update my receiver as well but this message has been going on for awhile. All I do is set my receiver to ask me if I want to download as I have the lock installed. Could this update cause me the pixelation & audio problems. Someone please help. Has anyone encountered this before.

I don't have any expertise in this field (Dishnet or EMU) but sounds like you have a reception problem. I have to think that you, like myself, are posting too technical questions at this newbie site. I would think that some of the other more expericened testers could help you out. I looked at your post and see the amount of views with no replies are the same as mine - no responses. Even though we are newbies, we may be asking too technical questions. I am contiplating reposting at a different area (even though it's frowned upon) to see if anyone has any suggestions, maybe you should do the same.

Post more info like twin or dual lnbs, s21 switch, number of IRDs on satelite. are you using RG6 cable? have you tried check switch in different detection modes like supper dish or alternate? My not be any of the above my be a problem with chuck.

It won't hurt to let your IRD take the update might help, I dont understand "The dish is an 18' with dual lnb. No dish500" dose it have 2 LNBs or one with 2 lenses ? dose it have a switch that both LNBs connect to or are you just running a cable from one LNB to your 2700. Have you tried to run a check switch?
It sounds to me like you just need to get your dish aimed properly.
