ready to trash Fortec Ultra

this receiver is driving me crazy..it downloads all channels with name and Number,but will only open a few,some come in white and some in yellow lettering..what am i doing wrong..joghound was nice enough to send me setup instruction ,but i canot open them..please help.i am desperate....(it is a friends unit)my pansat is soooo easy..thanks patoloco

do not speak that much spanish..i am trying your programms.but i am still confused with the flashing info??canot find the code line where to put the number 1668 or 00 01...on my Pansat i put 0000 in the parental controls and get a feature to put"key code acces"on..maybe that is my problem..maybe you can help me..thanks again ..patoloco

Also you need to load a bin file, use the v2.47pko file. Load a channel list for the sats you want to see with gtools or the stb updater as stb type 2 list. Get a winzip program so you can open the file. It will be worth your while. If you want to scan, do it after you load a channel list and scan by tp on each sat. Stay away from any blind type scans. :p hound
