No switch box detected

I have a 2700 with dish pro adapter. Whenever I try to install and replace it with 301-013 and do the check switch, it does not detect any switch box. It works fine on 301-013. I have DP34 switch installed and 110, 119 and 148. Switch box and all satellite are found on 301 but I cannot get it to work on 2700 even with or without dish pro adapter. My lnb's and switch box are dish pro. Could it be the faulty adapter ? Please someone help.

Thanks for your reply. What is the use of the dish pro adapters then. I believe they are made to work with the legacy receivers to be used with the dish pro lnb's and switches.

i'm actually using 1 diahpro adapter,,and it works good..i was advice before installing it..to run a "check switch" with my 311...turn it off..unplugged it..connect my 4900[legacy] then run a "check switch"..wait... and then it picks up all satellites available...it works good believe me

Thank you very much for your reply. So what you are saying is that I attach my 301 ( I do not have 311) and do the check switch than take it off and attach 2700 and do the check switch and it should work. Please confirm.

yes...also when you do the "check switch " don't check any satellite..just hit straight where it says test..good luck
