I am trying to scan both 110 & 119, and everytime I scan, I get the same channel list from my first scan. I have a 2500a and If I do a blind scan, the resaults are the same. Any ideas? I have a Para todos dish with two dual lnb's, I know I am getting good signal from both birds, because I get the channels(depending on which one I scan first)from them both. Do I have a bad switch? Or am I missing something?

Hi!
Have you tried turning 110w 22khz set to "OFF" and 119w 22khz set to "ON"
see if that works.

Hi! You should find that setting right under LNB frequency in antenna setup menu.

So just go into menu select antenna setup select the sat you want and under LNB frequency should be 22khz ...I posted a list for dish 500 in FTA section awhile back it`s channel list is made for dish 500.

Ok, first go into channels and delete all of them.

Now go into each Echo first don't mess with the 22khz leave it off or turn it off.

The first thing you want to do is look at the signal meter for each bird and make sure that you have good signal and quality on both birds, look at your diseqc setting and make sure that you have it set for the correct bird.
If you do not have signal or quality strength scroll down to TP on the sat that is weak or gone and then scroll over one time which will change you TP numbers and you should have a good lock click exit.

Now some times when you click exit your meter will drop to zero again if it does download that sat first and make sure that the channels match the bird if so download the other bird.

Now here is a better way:

If you want your guide numbers to match that of D!sh netw0rk, I have a channel list that I will attach that does not have the diseqc switch numbers set so you can go in and set then to the way your dishe(s) are connected to the switch.
(ie echo 8,6=110 / echo 7=119).

When you set you diseqc switch settings for each bird look at the signal and quality meters and make sure they are high, one will be one will not be, the one that isn't as your setting the diseqc switch setting go ahead and scroll down to TP and then scroll over one time (usally) will give you your signal and quality, hit exit and let it save it.

I did the scan like rougesat said and I did get more channels out of the Echos than yesterday. But only 323 TV and 129 radios on the all scan. 12 TV and 113 radio on the FTA. Is this about right? Could somebody answer these questions?

1.Should I do a " ALL" and "FTA" scan on every sat.?

2. What is "Unknow Network"? A few of the channels had this for a sat.

3. If you scan the same sat. twice under ALL (for example). Does it list it twice on your list?

I am getting closer thanks to you guys. I think now all I have to do is clean it all up.

If you rescan the same sat you will just get duplicate channels.

I would strongly suggest that you delete all channels and use gtools to put on the channel list and then follow the instructions for settting your diseqc switch up for each sat. Then you don't have to do any scans at all, just watch TV

The only problem with gTools is you cant get a list for the 110. Unless I am missing something?
