flash codes returned are not recognized

Hi,
got a 301.013 dual tsop ird.. after a lot of work I got the ird to power up.. and yesterday I erased the flash2 and loaded from a previous save.. now I tried to stream but got error 501. jtagged and it detects it fine but when clicking on flash programming I get the following:
"The flash codes returned are not recognized by jKeys. Mfg/Device codes returned are 103/3103(JEDEC) and 103/3130(FlashFile)"

anybody has any clue?

connected to the sat for stream.. on the installation menu it was saying wrong sat although it had good signal.. only on 110 it didn't say wrong sat.. anyway this time it was downloading update.. and then installed it restarted itself and did the same thing again and again.. I thot the lock is prolly on lock position.. switched to unlock did the same and this time after the first restart it keeps turning the ird on and off again and again.. the location id isn't 000001.. switched the lock to the other position .. now it's downloading again.. now it's on an infiinite loop! what to do?

I removed the lock and now I'm able to do flash programming.. deleted both flashes few times loaded an old copy.. connected the ird.. it powers up once and then the light goes off.. what's happening? still bad flash?

without a card inserted, that's normal.

the reason I did that is someone in the forum told me that I should leave it without the card to stream! :(

That would be one way to stream, but the best way is to make sure it's functional first after reflashing both flashes. then go to menu 6-1-5 set for w/o permission, save, then turn it off right there with the remote, within 15 mins it will be fully updated if it was not.

I got this flash from the tsop bank.. have a qeustion on this.. the software version on this one is P174 and my old backup says it's P182 and I didn't stream it for a long time. is P182 older than P174 ?

I dunno why but on the new flash I tried to match all.. dumped the new one. the old corrected one.. no luck.. ird has no power!! :(

I don't think I want to spend anymore time on this ird.. I want to get a 301.013 or 010 if you know anybody has 1 for sell or if you recommend to get 1 from ebay please let me know.. I would also like to get rid of this 301.013 which isn't powering up but jtagging works.. if anybody wants to buy it let me know..

Patience and understanding are lacking here............A tsop, will always be xxxA, the sticker on the board, xxxD is the eeprom version.
The DACA(D) is for a dual tsop 301-013. Get a good DACA(D) flash file, change nothing but boxkeys and receiver number, try again. It sounds like you are loading corrupt flash files, and be sure are you loading them in the correct order.

I just uploaded a DACD(D) zip file to files section, I has DACA P203 flash files and a DACD virgin eeprom, as soon as it is approved you can download it.

Skinerd.. I did get DACA flash files and changed boxkeys anf fixed crc generated virgin eeprom didn't change build config.. still same thing.. that's why I thought something is wrong here.. I didn't know I have to load them in order.. but I tried loading 1 first then 2 and the other way.. could you please please please show me a guide or just tell me the steps to load from your submitted file? and about the virgin eeprom, do i just load yours or create a virgin after I modified your flash files?

You are not suppose to generate a virgin eeprom. Use the one Skinerd sent to you.
Edit the boxkeys, IRD# save the flash files don't create a virgin eeprom
Then write the flash with edited stuff and the eeprom Skinerd sent to you.

Don't matter, flash either one first, and the eeprom.

okay.. here's what I did.. changed the boxkey and ird#, fix crc, personal dump.
erased the flashes 3 times each, loaded the new personal dump.
loaded the downloaded eeprom 3 times.
now plugged in.. no light so far.. left it connected hoping for some light! it's been 30 min already but still nothing pressing the power button won't do nothing..

You are sure you put flash 1 and flash 2 in the correct locations?
When you jtag it now, does it show your correct info?

Flash1->U10 then Flash2->U12 correct locations.. and erased then 3 times before that.. and yes jtagging now shows the correct info. I think the problem is somewhere else.. the ird makes a click noise when power cable is unplugged.. it didn't used to happen before.. it comes from a black drum right by the card slot. also I removed R110 and I lost trace on the top end.. so I jumpered the bottom part of 110 with SB46 (WE#0) coz looks like that's where it goes. also checked with meter.. could it be that? should I try with a 33ohm resistor ? if any of you want to give it a try I can ship it to you.. :-(

That's where it look like it goes?? I hope it is or you may have ruined something, the sound you hear is not a good indication that all is well..
I'll check it for you, send me a pm and we'll go from there.

Not to go against skinderd but my 301's click once in awhile, those old receivers 3900, 3900, are some noisy clicking sob's I think that is the relay in there but I am nowhere near as qualified as skinerd in this area, I am just saying that my receiver clicks right after I plug it in.

Hell, my 301 might click, I would never heard it.......
But since he mentioned it, I thought it might be a new noise that he was not used to hearing.

clicking is not probably the problem.. coz even after it clicked the power would come on.. but after lock removal things are not working right..

I was told by a friend of mine that the blue cards are expiring so they(dish net) sent him a new yellow card.. does that mean blue cards will no longer work?

Yup they will be gone some time next year. You will still have the cards but no programming will be on them.
