This is a cut'n paste from another site about Dish/Bell new model #'s. Take note that they're NOT testable at this time.

Charlie's new IRD's

People have been asking about these boxes on various websites so I figured that I would give a rundown
on what is currently known about them. If anyone has anything to add to this list, or if there is an error
please let me know.

dp111, Entry level model with limited features.

dp311, Replacement for the 301.010, 301.013. Uses the ST5517 processor.

dp322, Dual tuner version of the 311. Uses the Broadcom BCM7319 processor.

dp522, Dual tuner version of the 501, 508 etc. PVRs. Uses the Broadcom BCM7320 processor.

dp811, Replacement for the 6000 HDTV IRD

dp921, HDTV dual tuner PVR. Top of the line IRD in Charlie's world.

There is currently no way (or no publicly known way) to test these new IRDs.
Here is a list of some of the reasons why:

These new boxes have no JTAG connections on the mainboards thus you can't get the boxkeys,
dump the firmware, erase sectors etc.

They use an internal smartcard chip that is based on the Nagra 2 system like the ROM 101, 102,
103 yellow cards which we all know have yet to be cr@cked, or a cr@ck is not yet public.

The internal smartcard chip is in a BGA (Ball Grid Array) package which means the solder connections
are under the chip making it very difficult to remove without special tools.

Some of these IRDs have a card slot for future ROM versions but it is apparently disabled in the
firmware.

The Firmware on these boxes is said to work only with the Nagra 2 cards/internal smartcard chips.

The flash memory chips are also in a BGA package which makes it hard to find out which ball/contact
goes where on the mainboard. This makes installing locks or doing VID mods more difficult especially
if the mainboard is multi layered. It also makes removing the chip/s to read the boxkeys more
difficult (as if TSOPs were not hard enough to remove) as you would require special tools to remove them.

Convertion to ***,

Although it is said that *** will be selling the 811, 921 and the 311 IRDs later this year, only beta 311
firmware is currently spooling from the *** sats, without firmware support for the other models, they will not
work on ***.

Since it would require changing the provider info on the smartcard chip (not yet cr@cked)
and erasing a sector in the flash of the dp311 (no jtag connections) to take a download, it is
not possible to switch the dp311 to *** at this time
