Aquiring Satalite Signal

can anyone help me figure out why my bev 2700 receiver is saying Aquiring Satalite Signal, I know the signal is good because I tested it with another receiver in that location. I thought it was ecm'ed at first but the location Id is not 00001.

Did You Go Into The Setup Menu And Verify The 2700 Is Getting A Signal? What Type LNB(s) Do You Have? Any Switches? What Model Is The Other Receiver? A Little More Info Would Go A Long Way.

I went into the setup to check the signal strength and it was at 0 on all transponders, I tested both a 1000 model and a 3100 on that same line and they both receive a 93% signal strength so I know it is not the satalite signal, there is no switches on the line and I have a dual lnb. I hope this helps you a little better.

Make sure you have the receiver test the switch to get the correct configuration.
