Ok here's my problem the reciever comes on and it shows transponder 4 but it doesn't go thru steps 1 through 5. When I go to check the signal there is none there and will not show any transponders at all and you can't move over to where the transponders are supposed to be listed and it doesn't show any satt locked in. When I go to check switch it does nothing and there is nothing listed there either actually it like freezes the screen. Running a 3900 and in system info it shows everything ok any suggestions please. I am at a stand still.

unplug the receiver and plug it back in, if you have a switch do a check switch test.

I have the same problem with a DP301-013. It will go to adquiring sat signal and stay like that. If I plug in my other receiver in that cable it will work just fine, so it is not an lnb, cable or switch problem. If I check the voltage out of the receiver it seems ok, between 12 -18 volts, depending on the channel you are trying to get.

these receiver have locks? if disable lock , unplug Receiver plug it back in leave for 15-30 minutes. When tv comes on run a check switch/ put lock back on.

If no lock is installed then reflash your tsop

Thanks alot for the help will give that a try. As for more info yes the reciever was working fine and went to bed that night got up and it was like this. If all else fails may reflash the IRD in jkeys and start over. Again will try the other things suggested first Thanx Again.

I find sometimes just a matter of unplugging from power and the replugging and testing switches.........

you might try another script on your card, or use another one completely different in your ird. it worked for one of my receiver that kept getting stuck in that mode

The solution that I found was to erase and re-write the tsops and the eprom. After that, the receiver started to work like brand new again. It gets signal from all the birds and works like a charm :)

I have a 2800 that finally flashed and now says the receiver is locked and asking for a password, how can I fix it or can I?

Ist it just a matter of re-flashing it and then it will be fine? Hope so - any thoughts out there?
