Here is a question for you all.

I just installed a sw 44 for 4 ird's and i have noticed the signals drop greatly on all the receviers. When i pointed the dishes i had 95 % on Sat 110 and 105 % on 119.Both reading's were done on Transponder 11.But once i attached all the ird's the signal dropped to 70-75 % on 110 and as low as 65 % on 119.Do you think the results could be becaus of a faulty sw44 or is there to much cable installed. The max amount would be 60 ft.

sounds like a bad 44 switch, you have to be really careful when installing those things. You should always make sure evrything is unplugged when you actually hook the cable to thew 44 switch, if not, you'll short the thing out every time and thus have a bad switch.

Did you install the insert power for the switch? The reason I ask is becuz you did not post anything about the insert power for the switch.

Does anyone here know the Mhz range for a sw44 switch?I would really like to know.

I have a Dtv 2 x 4 splitter and it's 40 - 2150.Would this be enough for a fake sw44?
