Will the Dish brand SuperDish that picks up signals 105, 110, 119 work
with receiver model 301, 508, 510 and HD6000.

This Dish also picks up local channels as well, it looks like a great Dsih if I
decide to upgrade tp HD in the future.

Has anyone set up the SuperDish how is the installation time compared to
a Dsih 500.

How large is the Dish ?

The Dish is compatible with those receivers. You will not receive HDTV with it unless you subscribe because all HDTV programming has been moved to Nagra 2 encryption. I found my 105 Dish fairly easy to install )not as easy as the 500but not a huge hassle) but be aware that you will likely get no better than 80 signal strength on the 105 satellite. The key is making sure your angles and skew are correct. The Dish itself is oval and about one third larger than a regular Dish 500. All local channels on the 105 are CONUS so with proper tiers you can get all of them no matter where you live.

I have done a lot of searching, but cannot find a definative reply about a 3900 ird working with a superdish. From what I've read it sounds like this 3900 will not work with the DP34 switch on the superdish without a DP apdapter or maybe not. Am I correct in this? If so where can I get a DP adapter?

I have the superdish for 105, 110, 119. I get around 60 to 70 signal strength here in the middle of the country on 105. I get from 80 on the weak trans. to 120 on the strong ones on 110 and 119. I was told by my dish installer that the superdish including all mounting hardware weighs around 40 pounds. I don't know. I didn't weigh it, just took his word for it. Anyway i use the two support brackets to help stabilize it. It is mounted on the side of my house. It is bolted into the studs, as way as my siding. It is rock stable.Has survived several strong winds so far.

To be more specific, I have a factory installed (Charlie's superdish not mine) with a dp34 switch and two dual ird's (all 4 outputs used). I bought a second dp34 switch (cascadded to the first) and a refurbished 3900. Using magic card, I can only get either the 110 or the 119 bird. What do I need to get signals from both birds without modifying their superdish?
