i used the search feature and a ton of threads came up, this was a cut and paste from on of them. use the search, its very useful. btw, i find jt really knows his shit, thats y i chose this one
error 151 usually means a bad lock install. A softlock is software based, not hardware based like the digilock tsop lock. What do you mean by '3 wire lock'? A tsop lock should have 6-7 wires on it. Do you mean an eprom lock? For insalling a tsop lock on that 2700, follow mili's tsop lock install exactly as it's pictured. You will definetely need to let that ird see the stream with no locks on it to update the firmware, or download an image from the tsop bank that has already updated to P797. It shouldn't take to long to just let the stream update it. Probably only about 5min. The unit won't update with the tsop locked. Hope this clears a few things up. If you have a jtag, then you can just reflash your tsop with a new image if you do get ecm'd with no tsop lock. It's really easy with the 2700.

FYI-
error 152 is eprom lock instal prob
error 153 is bad cam id
error 155 is you took an ecm or lock detected by firmware (you won't get lock detected by firmware with the latest firmware for the 2700-P797)

The ID location it is OK
And the error message it is -155 the receiver -301-10

If the Location ID is 00000001., then you have been ECMed. You will need to Jtag your receiver and in Flash I programing, look for SA3 and erase that sector 3 to 4 times. Then stream the receiver. The green light will keep flashing and in about 15 minutes you will be back up and running.
