Status of ROM 10 Card

I am attempting to verify whether my ROM 10 card locked using NagraEdit 4.0 but kep getting the error message"Reset Failed-Error resetting card-ATR String Invalid. Can someone provide some insite on what I am encountering and what my next step should be?
