2800 with firmware of cbnd-f not -n

I have reflashed my tsop with everything from public to my own and I get cbnd-f . I also get no sat signal although I do with my other 2800.Any ideas what the - f means and how to fix it?
Also does it have anything to do with the no sat signal?

I believe that means that your EEPROM is corrupted. Create a virgin EEPROM image and flash it on.
