Question About Processor Speed??????

First a little history based on my personal results.

Loader was pre-modded!
Been F---ing w/for 3wks now, to no avail other than false negitives!
5k adj. linear tapered pot!
Used ufp1.6. Got no good ATR, EVER!! Had to adj. pot to low setting(700-900ohms) to get the reset out. Didn't help!
Next , flashed under XPAtmel, always get good ATR. Now I'm get all 6f's no matter where I adj. the pot to (low or high) it doesn't matter!!!!!!!!
Tried all flashes!
I've been using a 350Mhz processor under 98. Is it possible that it's too slow?
Have access to a 1.8Ghz using XP platform and a 1.2Ghz P4 under WK2.
Been using a multi-voltage selector 600Ma set at 7.5vdc.

I have read and read and read. Asked several questions, no one seems to want to help much; with few exceptions, Thanks JT and Crazy1_79 for your help, But I really not sure where to start next. I'm looking for New ideas, ANYONE!!!

Could the processor be too slow (350Mhz)???
Power supply?

I truly don't think the mod is the issue, but having said that I didn't personnaly do the soldering.

Start with glitcher2. READ the READ me file, Flash a good Rom3 with tester,set win EXPLORER to proper settings, use newd6 to flash 2313Atmel. Run test program TESTglitchFIND.xvb and adjust the combo of "5k and the settings you can change in the test program called vcc Start= and vccLimit=" these are different settings on different unockers. When you are fine tuned in with good ffffaaaaffffaaaaaffffffaaaaa alternating a's-n-f's use the same settings in the unlocker program and you will see something like Fo6Fo6Fo6,6fff6ffff, different cards seem to give different readings. some times they will run over night but with good results!!!
