BEV 3120 System

Just wondering what the word is on a BEV 3120 receiver. Are they a new version of a 3100 that has had some new anti-hacking device or software put in them. Do they only come with ROM 11 cards, do they only work with certain cards, such as a ROm 11. I have also been reading that ROM 11's are programmable now, is that true or are they just able to be read or somethng like that so far. I have a friend who has one and I want to get one myself, it has a j-tag port on the bottom so it is easy access. Other than that any info will be greatly appreciated.

Bev 3120 is not the ird,it's the whole package,ird(3100),dish(20") and dual LNB.If youre lucky then you could find one with an open ROM10 other than that they are coming with locked ROM 11,which have been cracked but s/w for programming is not available as freeware at present.

They also covered up the J-tag port, so no I have to remove the whole main board. How do you know the card is a ROM 11, does Nagra edit recognize them like it does ROM 3's and 10's, or does it give a specific error. Also, on the back of the card there must be a way of telling what ROM it is, like the CAM ID or something, howcan you recognize it. Lasty, do you know who can program these cards privately an how do you get them unlocked? You have been a great help once again.

Is this list for Charlie and BEV? And are all ROM 11's AA-04 only?
