View Full Version : How are they nailing me!?

I have a 301.10. I am using a ROM 10 with a known good CAM ID (because it is a clone of my legit sub) which I am programming using Numax, or TCFDiii (I've tried both). I am not adding a PPV string, just tiers.

Numax and TCFDiii both include the GCSB blocker, and I am making sure that it makes it onto the card.

But I keep getting the "Serious Error" message!! It's driving me nuts! So last night, I read the software from the TSOPs (software v229) and used Flashedit to try to add the softlock so that I at LEAST wouldn't have to tear the 301 apart every time I got hit. The softlock didn't take. That is, when I hooked it back up the the stream, the receiver acted just as if I had erased SA3 and completely re-downloaded the TSOP software.

So my questions are: 1) What are they hitting on ROM 10's right now and what do I do to avoid the problem and 2) Is there working softlock software for v229 301 TSOP software?

Thank you!!

The number of the error (eg 152,153 ect) goes a long way on finding the cause.

Check what number it is then see the sticky in this forum. It will give the most likely cause for the serious error.

After finding the cause it's usually a simple matter to fix it.

first of all , softlock doesnt support any firmware version , p225 or higher , u need to have a p224 or less, i think , but for sure i can tell u that p214 software does work with softlock cuz thatis what i have installed on my reciever, and after installing an older version , dont forget to goto setup menu and then system upgrade , click on " ask for permission b4 downloading" dont leave it on automatically update , u dont need that , cuz if dishnet does update ur software , ur reciever woudl work fine , but the softlock would be erased, so make sure u turn that option off . And when it comes to why they keep hittng ur cam id , i dunno , u can message me and i mght do something for u , later

for rom10 write nomore64 blocker or use rom3 with gscb blocker
