Rom3-no PPV

I am using 2700 system with Rom3. I use Xtreme ISO programmer and Negraedit 4.1. I am getting channels other than PPV. When I read the card in negraedit, it says:

Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

I want to fix my card for ppv. last time it was on rev383 when I programmed it and was working fine. i am using Frankenpatchrom3 blocker.

No I cannot read my card. This is exactly the problem I am facing. When I try to read it , it says:

I'm no expert but I have two cards that have been looped that give the same message. There is no fix as yet, I'm guessing you have two ice scrapers.

Do you have different card for checking,how is works yours programmer,becouse same times little banding card bring this problem.Try,if programmer work with different card,put under rom card same personal card and slid in together in programme.Did you try make Bug Buster in nagra?

Nifty, This card is not an ice scraper as I can watch many other channels. I do have two looped card as well which are truly ice scrapers (untill now).

Thanks for yours suggestions mft1027 but I have only this card which works for some channels. Can you elaborate more about Bug Buster please. I am a newbie in fact. Thanks.

Try insert yours card with same personal card and read card ,it will not hurt yours card.In narga 4.1 under card,click Bug Buster ,put numbers of time 128 and
click OK.Don't pay attention about message,read card.Do this several times.Good luck.

Since you are still able to watch tv it does not sound like it is looped, therefore it sounds more like a communication problem.
The invalid ATR message can also be caused by the PC not being able to communicate with the card. Little things can prevent that; check your port setting to see if it matches the port you are plugged into, ie: com 1 etc. Make sure the card is inserted properly. Make sure you have the right cable etc.
The Franken script you used with the built in blocker is unfamiliar to me but the blocker probably needs to be removed before you can do anything, I'm not sure how that one works.

Thank you all for your help. Sorry, there was a loose connection problem. Now I can read the card but it is not accepting the lock password I orignally set.

Here is what I see when I read the card:

But when I try to remove lock Tools > Remove Card Lock in Negraedit,
it says:

Removing card lock
Closing of COM1 was successful
Bad password or BackDoor not present


Yes Fanken script is a combination of tiers and blocker which coverts Rom3 rev 372 into rev 383 after progrmming. A password is used to program like this to lock and you have to unlock and go back to rev 372 to do anything new.



When last time I read the card before prgramming, it read as follows:

Try RomPopper latest version and Rompuke. Remember there is always a risk of harming your card when using public files but these have been used with minimal problems.
I would switch to Mili's private blocker if you get it unlocked.
