Unable to create tiers, only ch 101,103

Unable to create tiers, only receive ch 101 & 103, tried all tier programs.
Confirmed all settings - still nothing
Any thoughts????

What tier writing program are you using?

What type of IRD and is it updated?

Are you sure your location ID isn't 000000001?

What card are you using?


Tier programs include: tcfdII, minirtm, and tiergen

2700 IRD updated to 2800 - tried several newer Eprom flashes also - didn't make a difference

Location ID is 000000001 - is this a problem?

Yes ... if your location id is 000001 then your Tsop has been hit... go to jkeys and erase the appropriate sector for your receiver and let it update through the stream .

Loc 0000001 means your receiver has been ECM'd. You'll need to JTAG it, go to TSOP programming, and erase Sector SA5 (3 times)
Leave the card out and restream the receiver. The power light will flash intermittently for maybe 10 minutes, then go out. That indicates your receiver's TSOP has been stream-repaired.

Now, you must find what did this in the first place. Most likely, either an invalid CAMID or a PPV string with the eventID ranges set too far apart. Make note of this when you create a new set of tiers..PPV is somewhere in the 70400-71400 range now. Spreading it further than that is inviting trouble.
