There has to be some justice in life, and that sounds like a pretty good compromise to me! :)

Thre is a feature I disable in the VB software the famed "reputation" points that if too many is collected you get onto everyone's ignore list. I think reinstating it would be a disaster though.

Well it would proballyjust be a hassle. but if it interests mili couldn't he turn it back on and then if it doesn't work out turn it back off, I'm not really sure how it works though, I seen over at CC they do that but it doesn't mean much to me,

Personaly I don't think members should have the right to vote off members. We as members are here to help and learn and none of the members are stock holders of this site. Mili has the right to and the good moderators as well and I think it should be left the way it is.Mili and the mods here try and keep a tight ship here and do a good job so why try and fix something that is not broken, LOL half of us would be voted off this show including myself besides this is not a Reailty TV Contestants show. LOL it is about TV in a big different way.

You were'nt around for the few weeks that the rep points were used here. It was a disaster in my opinion. There was even this pretty cool guy 'oldphart', that ended up being banned because he went on a rep point rampage, slamming the daylights out of just about everyone. People just don't award rep points fairly a lot of the time. At CC I think it's only the mods that are allowed to assign the points, but I could be wrong. The points seem to work a little better for CC, but I still think it's flaky. It reminds me of the teachers pet(s) back in high school. You know, the guys you didn't hang out with during lunch hour. :) I don't think it worked out very well the time we did try it, and the atmosphere is considerably more volitile these days.

Getting rid of the rep boxes was a smart thing. And as for voting out members, things have calmed down now, and hopefully our site can get back to being a brotherhood, and a place to gather for quality technical assistance as it's been known for. I hate that we lost even one member as a result of a stupid card...

I don't know what happened to OldPhart. Maybe he changed names, maybe he just vanished. A shame; I really liked him. I think he got off on the wrong side of his meds about the time he left. He just exploded on everybody, cussing, flaming, ranting like a lunatic - totally out of character for him - this went on for days - and unfortunately we had to hand him his walking papers.

I'd like to see some of these guys who left under clouded situations come back on board. OldPhart, are you listening? :)

I think were well on our way to being back to normal. I'm worried it's going to get crazy again right around the new year, but we got past in once already, we can do it again. It seems like most of the worthwhile regulars have resumed participation to me. Thanks guys for sticking it out. :)
