Bought brand new bell express vu 3100-10. I want to convert it to the Dishnetwork. Do I have to Flash 1 SA3 & SA8 to convert and let the dishnetwork reload its software?

first you need to virginize the eeprom and load that into the receiver then erase SA3 three times on flash one. put in dishes sattelite stream and enjoy.

What do you mean by Virginize

Erase SA3 (3 -4 times) and re-stream without card in slot. It will update to current DN FW.
