Magic Bullshit

You know I've read all the posts about the magic 1 & 2 bullshit and there seams to be a lot of supporters (especially those who get them to work) but let me remind everyone of something. This magic card stuff is NOT free TV hobbies stuff. Were getting charged for the hardware and the software (periodically by the way) by these people just like Charley so this shit should work without a hitch. Figuring shit out and sharing info like a hobbies is just that but BUYING something on a promise of performance is NOT a hobbie. We should not have to fight our way to get this stuff to work and for one I’m not too happy about it. I have spent good money on a product that is advertised to perform and it isn’t doing the job. I want to know when these guys making and selling this stuff are going to make it good on there pitch about what these cards are suppose to do. I mean these things should work out of the box or we should get our money back. A lot of us have done everthing as instructed and they still do not work.

Edited my previous post as I reread your post and you do make alot of sence, I mean, If you were bitching for free stuff, well, been there, done that!
But you do have a point in that you paid for something, and expect decent service in return.

Dr. Zapola We'll the card has not performed 100% as promised from day one nor is everyone 100% satisfied. When something new comes out everyone hopes this is the best thing for testing. So they take a chance(in this hobby there is a lot left to chance) and buy it. Then you get into a mess like this. Some people can get it to work some can't,why? Could be a lot of reasons. I have seen a lot in this hobby but have not seen 100% of the people satisified-nor will.. I would also call them bumbs that got added to the list. As far as I know Maguc Card has not made any statement to the public about this. They don't have the balls to handle the questions,so they let the middle men-like milli defend themselfs and stick up for a product that doesn't perform like advertized. No matter what you say or do(unless you find them and kick there ass) is going to change this.When people sat enough they are tired hearing about it and just make the best of it. If you want a change or some sort of satisfaction I would say the best way is to find the horses mouth and deal with them directly. You have to remember what this hobby is all about. If I buy a new car from a dealer(like mili) and something is wrong with it and the dealer can't take car of it-or won't-I could to to the manufacture and probably get satisfaction because they are legal. That is not the case here. I don't even use the magis card,never had to, but I'm willing to read and try to help out others having problems-that is my idea of testing-learning and helping.

I had a ton of prob when I got mine I keept plugging asked accurate questions and read if we were close togerther we could hok up and compair notes I have the 224 working on 2 comp one xp and one 98se and now I have the 226 working on 98se I had a ton of prob at first but when I got it working now no prob I evan use a unpowered programer but I did notice the wiring on the powered unit has some less then perfect solder jobs on the power wires I have both but since I have no prob with the unpowered I use it but I did go over the wires on the power unit a bad or low batter will screw them up and the list go's on of things you have to do correct I don't think the info say so simple you can't goof it up but when you have a bit of sucsess then the prob you have seem simple I have learned that this hobbie requires pat.

I hear you guys and believe me I understand where you are coming from but I still contend that this Magic stuff is not free tv therefore not in the hobbie section. You pay for a card and programming ( on a periodic basis to these guys so they make money like a middle man for the dish people ) so it should work without a hitch. Let me say I sub from DSS and I dont have to mess with the equipment to get it to work. Do ya feel me................ Oh and I do enjoy talking to you guys about it. THANX
