Dish 500 pro or Legacy...??

FontSizeColor :confused: Hey guys, I have a ird 301.013 mod with all the stuff works fine and a Dish 500pro on the roof. My question is cannot catch the 110 and the 119 only the odd transponders. I've think its the lnb w/switch is defective so I purchase a lnb w/switch for the 500 pro but it says its a legacy what's the differecne between the pro and legarcy..Thanks

Older IRD's won't work with Dish500 Pro LNB's. The newer models (like your 3100) work with both legacy or the DishPro lnb's. U did good in case you ever need to test an older IRD.

Most times when you get just odd or just even its a cable or cable end connector problem. Lnb's do screw up but not as much as bad connections.

It's worth spending a little more on connectors and cables.

Thanks Guys for the reply, but I do have new cables RG6 2300mhz and DigiCom connectors which cost alot of money. Today I'll try my new lnb to see what happends. And let you guys know....
