I'm trying to hook up my Superdish 121 and I have just come across a problem.

If I connect any LNB to Port 1 on my switch (DP-34) I can see the channels and it registers when I run check switch. However, I can have any LNB in Ports 2 and 3 but their channels can't be seen and when I run check switch, it only sees whats in Port 1.

Oh on the check switch screen i have Superdish and 3 sat checked.

Have I missed something or is this a bad switch I've come across?

Also, I'm currently hooked up to the 110 but I can't see several channels, the error message gives me the channel and transponder, same thing, all even numbered transponders i can't see. On the Switch test, the only polarity it measures, with any of the LNB's is odd.....is this also to blame due to the above?

Thanks for the help.

What kind of IRD?

How many dish's?

Three dish's right?

You can get 110 but nothing else sounds like the skew is off but I am not sure.

I see dishnet reciever and direct tv dish right?

Your multi switch is a dishnet also.

You may have to use a direct tv multi switch to get it to work.

This is what I have seen done and did myself is take one IRD set up a dishnet dish with dual LNBF'S 119 and 110 skew them in with a sat finder plug them up to sat one and two on that multi switch then get a single LNBF dish 300 or that direct tv dish setting up catching dust in attic's and aim it for sat 121 then plug it in to dish three on your multi switch then check switch again.

After I finished setting up my dish's I hooked up the other rooms with IRD's.

Try aiming in 119 first then skew 110 and 105 shouldn't be a problem.

Don't forget to check switch.

Does your 2700 have a selection for super dish?

You are going to have to update your reciever if it does not have a super dish selection.

Let me guess you have dish 500, dish 300 but no super dish?

No, it's on Superdish.

Sounds like a bad switch but I don't want to say that.

Try hooking the cable straight from the IRD up to 119 LNBF and aim your dish for 119.

One more question how many IRD's are you trying to hook up two or three?

I have found that dp dish's don't need a switch.

Come on guys. Super dish is all DP lnb's. 2700 ird is Legacy type. You can't use legacy IRD with DP lnb and Switch. You need an adapter or a new IRD.
