dish parity keys 0 changed again?

i'm programing a second rom 3 card i have. but i got black screen. except for the preview & dish info channels. did the parity keys 0 changed again? i am using B4 87 66 6D 05 EA D1 ED 74 E5 5B D6 25 20 30. my first card i did months ago is still going. but the second card i just did now is no go. i even use the same cam id. if it is not the parity key 0, what am i doing wrong?

Could be incorrect boxkeys. I don't think the Decrypt keys have changed. If you leave it on a channel you don't get any errors. The public key changed couple of weeks ago. If your card didn't update this publick key then you would get an error. To check latest public keys go to www.bellexpress.vu

thanks for the quick help. i didn't think the decrypt keys changed cuz my other rom3 card is still working fine. i thought unless for some strange reason the decrypt keys roll? i'm aware the public key 1 has changed and i made the correct entries in nagra edit. you said it could be the wrong boxkeys, but wouldn't it tell me this card is not authorized with this receiver if the box keys are incorrect?? cuz i am getting the channel guides as channels are wide open. when i click on the channel, it just went like a sub service with no error codes or anything, just plain old black screen.
i'm lost.

gee, for awhile. after i did my first card. i thought i jump from newbie to level 2 satellite guru. but now i guess i am back down on earth, back to newbie again.

Wron boxkeys don't give error all you get is black screen. Wrong IRD# will give you invalid card with this IRD error.

Double check your Boxkeys and IRD#. Just to be sure.

The keys will roll, it takes between 10 & 30 minutes. Will act like wrong boxkeys....I would leave on channel 101 for 30 minutes then try other channels..
If that doesn't work has to be outdated software version or wrong boxkeys.

If the keys are not correct it will give you an error. Wrong Boxkeys don't give error I think its just black screen.

you are absolutely correct, sir! it was indeed wrong box keys entered. as you know, i'm getting older, the lack of money and sex will result in concentration and carelessness.

this is a very good tip. us newbies would've never thought about this. only experience testers like you can tell the possible cause. i wonder if it is posssible that we can compile a 'symtoms & solutions' chart here in this site. that way, this kind of common dumb questions will not be asked over & over again. what do you say, mili?
