:) hey guys, I just recently purchase another ird(301-010) but I have been looking here to get the top jtag points for it but haven't had luck yet, so I was wondering if someone could help me on this one.

you could even hit the *search* tab..maybe type in *3100 jtag location* ..?..or would that take up to much of your time ..I guess asking the same question that's been ask'ed and answer'ed 100 time's might be a waste of everyone's time ...but we will take the time to answer your question ...cause your special ..?..

If you're JTAGging the bottom, with the rear of the receiver towards you, you'll use 3,4,5,6 and 7, top row of pads, counting from RIGHT to LEFT. Pad 7 is for the red wire (trst) lead.

When looking at the jtag spots with the IRD front toward you, there are two rows of 10 spots. You will use the top row.

The first spot is the 5th wire on Jtag. Second is blank. Then 6th wire, then 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and then find a nice ground somewhere for the last wire. I used the spot where the metal casing around the TV-Coaxial out, meets the MB.


Thanks for all the help. The ir301-010 on the top(EJTAG) it only has 16 points 8 and 8 one on top of the other so really don't know exactly, I have been searching hell a lot, and still can't jtag it. And SKINERD i'm jtagging through the top, thanks anyway.
