No sound/video on 510

Converted (at least trying to) 510 to 5900.
have virgin software (p080) on it and cloned to my 3100. If cloned properly should I be able to see sound/video on the virgin software?

If you are changing numbers, then the harddrive needs to be zeroed also.
No sound or video usually means the card and the receiver boxkeys don't match..........

If I have the #'s right it should work without the hard drive installed shouldn't it?
