why in the world would my dp301.013 single tsop show the bootstrap and the receiver id and all that info when the vidmod is on but when i turn it off it doesnt show any more?

What data IS showing? All X's? Blank? Corrupt data? Does J-keys detect anything with it off?

Which vid-mod version did you use? Are you sure you cut the correct trace?

When the vid mod is on, 12v goes to the flash chip where normally there is 3.3v, so be sure when the vid mod is off, SB 35 then has the 3.3v on it that comes from the "spot".
