Okay I've got my 508 board out of the box and ready to do the Vid Mode , however I have ran into a slight problem , the Pic of the 50X in the Vid Mode Instruction where wire "A" goes is a litte different than mine , I don't have a good enough camera for the pics of mine to be worth shit ( its al blury using my camera Phone ) So I just did some editing of the orginal one to what mine looks like , So IF someone who has done one with this type board before will let me know if thats the correct spot ( its labeled in my pic ) where aire "A" goes on my board , I would appreciate it , just a note the spot I am talking about is right next to R325 on my board Also , I have the spot for R331 but there is no resistor there ( Its also In a different Location) I am uploading both pics ( The editted one that is what my board lloks like & the One in the 4 wire Vid Mode Instructions

Also I have 2 more questions , I know it does'nt say it in the instructions but seems like a rember reading awhile back in this forum about someone saying you should use a resistor in between the switch & the 12v wire , Is this true ? If so what kind ? Last Where on the DPDT switch that I'm using for the Vid mode should I hook the 2 wires coming from OJ1 , so that when the vid mode is turn on to write it is also on ( If I were looking at the Pic of the Switch in the Vid mode Instructions where do I Put those 2 wires?)

That's the spot, R 331 or not, use it.

I don't use any resistor, never a problem.

Looking at back of DPDT switch, when 12v is to c, OJ1 jumped.
0<--->12v......0<---->OJ1
0<--->c..........0<---->OJ1
0<--->a+b.....0<---->empty

Okay got everything hooked up , I just want to make sure , that when the toggle switch is up ( towards A&B & empty hook next to that one) that the Vid Mod is ON? and when the switch is down ( towards 12V & and the hook next to it has 1 of the OJ1 wires) then the Vid mode is OFF , Right? I just want to make sure before i turn it on , because according to the Pic ( see below) this is how I gather it works , according to where the red arrows in the pic point to it means this right?

The pic shows a slide switch, right........you have a toggle switch, right,
The difference, a toggle operates opposite a slide.

Do a google search there are all kinds of instructional pages out there.
