First timer on a 301.013 IRD

Need info to configure a 301.013 IRD. The type of card I have is a ROM 10; this card is not configuring yet for this IRD. The IRD does not have the opening for the jtag, so I will need to remove the board from the case or cut an opening to Jtag the IRD. So I need to find out if I need to configure the VID MOD in the IRD and also I need to install the digital lock and Eeprom lock in IRD to protect the STOP.
