Setting up a buddies dish. I'm using the DTV single LNB and gonna point at the 119` satellite then gonna strap on an extra LNB to pick of the 110. He hasnt gotten a SW21 yet, so i did a switch check so it would verify thats theres no switch. So im trying to pick up the 119 and cant get it. I got the elevation at 35` like it shows and hitting pretty close to the 225 mark for azimuth. Any advice?

If you find 110, 119 is a little over to the right and down about 1-1 1/2"

Do you have a satfinder?
They are well worth the money.
Pm me for a link.

no sat finder but i wish i had one. When in the System Menu > Peak Angles, i select the DIsh300. Then select the 119` - it shows azimuth-226 and elevation-35. I have the elevation at 35` and i swing the dish from left to right but nothing. real frustrating.

is it on a flat surface or angled rooftop?

angled roof top but it shouldnt matter if its angled or flat as long as you got the mount pole level and straight.

could be the LNB. The sats are not too hard to pick up and if you're having trouble then it's either the cable or LNB. Had the same problem with a buddies where we couldn't find the bird no matter what. Used a DishPro LNB and it came in just like that. Running a 301-010 receiver.
