View Full Version : Edit Bin file for the FTA
Hi All:
Does anyone know how to create or edit a file for the FTA receiver??
For example, the NBA channel is blackout now, can we need to add the string to the bin file
!Add 0B 22 0101400164AA02003B66173319610000017FFF80000169D900 0169D9000000000000 ; NBA.
Please provide the site or the instruction for thanks of millions.

You are not going to be able to edit the bin file unless you have the source code. The keys are loaded in the flash. The secret to getting the channel is to scan it in while it is on air. I am not sure if this will work on a true "local blackout" but by theory with a fta receiver this shouldnt have any effect.

I ran across this old c&p that I had saved. Maybe this will help ya bro.
They keep changing the locations daily for NBA League pass stations. Thats why you can't find them.
Scan 12559 H (or 12557 H) and 12573 V (or 12574 V) on 110w. But do it just before (or during) game time. Since they only show up when they are broadcasting on those channels.
With a DishPro setup, do a scan of TP 13041 and 13216.
If you find any other TP's, please post them and their locations in this thread. I will be glad to add them. Note: The TP# can varry from receiver to receiver according to the channel list used -- so please provide the frequencies and VPID's (if known). By posting in this thread we pool all our information and keep this thread visible for others. Thank you.
Yesterday (Tuesday 10/26) the Knicks VS Nets was on NBA 9916. Sometimes it will be Labled TV-561 or TV-562, NBA 561, NBA 562, NBA 9915, NBA 9916, PPV-561, PPV-562, TV- 9915 or TV-9916, Schedule 1, 2 3, 4 etc.
Many NBA games on Legue Pass are also mirrored on the sports channels in the 400's and/or are shown on other channels: These are called Fox Sports Network's (FSN's), FSN Alternates, Comcast, Empire Sports, MSG etc. Also check TNT, TBS and the ESPN's, that frequently carry games.
Channel 560, NBA TV, does show some NBA games. However, NBA TV is always in the same place at 12603V.
Some NBA games are also shown on B*V @ 91W: There were at least 3 shown tonight on the SNET’s (SPORTS NET’s) and RAPTR (Raptor TV usually shows Raptors – but tonight and at other times shows other games).. So if you can’t find your game, or Dish gets ECMed (bite your tongue) – this gives you other options.

Also another c&p :
*** The NBA, NHL and MLB package channels (540-552, 561-572 and 625-639) change transponder/satellite positions daily. They are all mirrors of the Regional Sport Channels found on channels 412-437 and "SKDL" Channels found on channels 9910-9917. After trying to keep up with this every day with MANY MANY thanks to (ANON) I have decided to stop tracking this information as long as these channels mirror the channels I just listed. These channels will always be in the following places: Transponders 10, 12, 17, 18 or 21 at 119° and transponders 24 or 25 at 110°

I just did a TP scan on 12559 and 12574 to try to get the nba games. No luck. I'm using a pansat and its 8pm right now and the games started at 7:30 .... is my timing the problem, or am I scanning the wrong frequencies? Is anyone keeping track of the nba games and if so, what frequencies are you scanning?
